ARTERRA’S SEASONAL SUPPER MENU BRINGS THE BEST OF THE SEASON TO YOUR TABLE

(SAN DIEGO, CA; November 3, 2006) Arterra restaurant at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar offers the freshest farm-to-table dining experience with the introduction of a special 3-course Seasonal Supper prix fixe menu. Featuring the highest quality local produce, ingredients and flavors of the season, guests can enjoy a well-thought out menu that is sure to please every palate. Arterra Executive Chef Brian Pekarcik is turning out imaginative regional contemporary American flavors in this inclusive menu that is elegantly refined yet relaxing enough for everyday dining.

Arterra’s Seasonal Supper 3-course prix fixe menu will be available Monday nights only from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, excluding holidays. Dishes are influenced by the season and of Arterra Executive Chef Brian Pekarcik’s special selection such as:

Chef’s Seasonal Soup of the Day or Bradley’s Caesar Salad

 MAIN
Local Harpooned Swordfish
Shellbean “Cassoulet,” Golden Chanterelles, Horseradish Flan
or
Braised Beef Short Rib with Stuffed Potatoes and Roasted Chino Farm Vegetables

DESSERT
Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta with Devil’s Food Cake, Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch and Coffee Caramel
Coconut Crusted Banana Cake with Rum Ice Cream, Raisin Puree and Macadamian Praline

Ideal for an effortless evening out, Arterra’s Seasonal Supper prix fixe is available for $39 per person (tax and gratuity not included). For the month of November guests can also enjoy specially selected wines from Arterra Wine Director Ted Glennon. Bottles will be half price for the entire month of November every day of the week (except Sunday and excluding holidays) with the order of an entrée in the Arterra dining room. 

Arterra’s award-winning food and wine program is further complemented by a full bar and fresh sushi menu within a comfortable lounge environment. Its bustling exhibition kitchen frames the culinary team with a perfect view for diners to enjoy and partake in this unique experience. Arterra’s intimate Vintage Room, located just off of the main dining room entrance, takes private groups into a more exclusive setting and a one-of-a-kind personalized culinary experience. Arterra is open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and for dinner Monday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The bar is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. with a special bar menu available from 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
