Arterra Restaurant's award winning food and wine program is recognized by epicureans and restaurant critics as one of the premier dining destinations in San Diego.

Executive Chef Jason Maitland brings to life the seasonal bounty of San Diego's finest farm-fresh produce at the peak of each season while staying true to Arterra's "art of the earth" roots.

Arterra specializes in contemporary seasonal cuisine that reflects the diversity of American cooking culture, updated, refined and intensely flavorful. Produce, meats, poultry, fish, game and other products are harvested or hand-selected by local ranchers, farmers and fishermen exclusively for Arterra. The restaurant serves American food accented with an eclectic blend of over 350 American wines.

The distinctive atmosphere of Arterra evokes a comfortable yet elegant feel. Our exhibition kitchen displays a perfect view of chefs at work. While the cuisine will attract the diners, a full bar and outdoor seating with fireplace complete the dining experience. Our Vintage Room which seats up to 16 guests is available in the restaurant. Arterra's Vintage Room includes a large plasma screen with computer hook up, DVD, VCR and surround sound.
